So here I sit, in a coffee shop on a Saturday afternoon, finishing up the first official assignment for my summer seminar -- "The Practice of Programming". It's a survey class on the generally accepted best practices when it comes to writing code. I haven't been out there in the industry all that long (< 5 years), but I can already attest to the importance of such things. Never, ever, EVER underestimate the importance of developers' ease of comprehension of your code.
Never, ever, EVER, EVER.
Seriously, just don't.
This is a short post. In the chapter I just finished reading, it stated not to insert comments in code that are self-evident or painfully obvious. "This is a short post" qualifies as such.
